Currently {August}

I'm linking up with Farley over at Oh' Boy 4th Grade for this month's currently.

I can't believe it's already August! In less than two weeks I'll be back at school for teacher work days. This summer has really flown by, but I am getting ready for another school year to start!

Listening: I finished watching Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp today, so now I'm just watching reruns of Parks & Rec while I try to get some work done.

Loving: When I ordered my Erin Condren Life Planner months ago, I bought the quick print version that didn't come with a personalized cover. I finally ordered a new cover and it came today. I love it!

Thinking: This is my last weekend of summer break, so I want to plan a weekend trip to the Outer Banks. I live only about 3 hours away, so it's a pretty quick trip. A few days of relaxation will be nice before I get back into full Back to School mode.

Wanting: I haven't been in my classroom yet this summer, but I'm excited to get back in their soon and get to work! I'm moving into a new, much bigger classroom this year and I even get a SmartBoard. I am so excited to get everything set up.

Needing: I am in need of new borders for my bulletin boards. I've found a bunch that I want from Creative Teaching Press and I'm going to order some as soon as I narrow down what I actually need. I've seen a bunch of great bulletin boards using the hashtag #tptcheckoutmyclassroom on Instagram.

B2S RAK: I am so lucky to work in a really positive environment. There really is a sense of teamwork and community within the staff at my school. This year, I want to work to increase that. I love the idea of putting positive notes in my co-workers mailboxes.

  1. We went to the Outer Banks back in June! It was only my second time going and I just love it there! Creative Teaching Press definitely has some adorable borders! Putting positive notes in your co-workers' mailboxes sounds like such a great idea!! Good luck setting up your classroom and hope you make it to the beach!

  2. Thank you for reminding me that I wanted to watch Wet Hot American Summer! I totally forgot! :D I know what you mean about wanting to get into your classroom-me too! You will love having a SmartBoard! I had one at my old school, but I don't at this new school. I'm so bummed. I hope you have a great beginning of the year. And I hope you get out the Out Banks one more time. I love it out there!

  3. I hope you get to go on your weekend away! I don't know much about Outer Banks, but it sounds pretty cool, and a pretty nice way to celebrate summer one last time! I'm sooooooo not ready to think about bulletin boards and borders yet! Maybe a weekend at the beach would help me out too!
